writer, copywriting specialist
A creative writer by training and pedigree, a technical writer and agency slave by experience, Charlotte’s written a little bit of everything—but her first loves are brash, passionate prose and heavy-hitting short copy. She can write product demos and pithy tweets in equal measure, and jumps at any chance to use her powers for good. She spent the last three-ish years as a copywriter at Baldwin&, Ad Age’s 2012 Small Agency of the Year, cranking out words for Burt’s Bees, Krispy Kreme, Cree, and more. Before that, she punched her time card at Capstrat and Centerline.
Each Labor Day weekend for the last seven years, Charlotte has traveled to Atlanta, Georgia to direct the Fantasy Literature fan track at Dragon Con, because she is a huge nerd.
Acerbic, insubordinate, and fond of Schadenfreude, Charlotte finds that humor is a pervasive—and entirely necessary—element of her work. She believes in the Oxford comma and will defend her right to use it. Her favorite punctuation mark is the semicolon.
